Building a strong relationship with Red Hat

by | Apr 20, 2022

Working together with other companies is a crucial part of our everyday business. Be it with our customers, business partners or technical partners – a close relationship is key for every future collaboration. Vendors of operating systems play an important role in this context. We maintain official technical partnerships with Red Hat and SUSE and aim to deepen that relationship, starting off with Red Hat.

Red Hat Technical Partner

With the technology partnership with Red Hat we get access to resources such as beta versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, developer subscriptions, team support, and official container images for RHEL. Having access to these resources enables us to build our installation packages for RHEL in the most reliable way. As a result, the technical partner program enables us to build certified software for RHEL.

RHEL Certification

Recently we announced that our software Icinga is now officially Red Hat Enterprise Linux certified. Going through that process was important to us, in order to make sure our software and especially our installation packages are verified by the operating system vendor. As a result, users can run Icinga on hybrid cloud environments based on RHEL, with a guaranteed reliability.

TSANet Membership

To complete our commitment, we became a Technical Support Alliance Network (TSANet) member. TSANet provides an industry standard framework for solving customer issues in multi-vendor support environments. TSANet members abide by a code of conduct when working customer issues. We leverage the TSANet platform to work closely together with Red Hat on joint customer issues. Our customers benefit from this collaboration by not having to deal with finger pointing between vendors. We remain focused on fixing our customers issues and report our findings back to other vendors.
