We’re happy to announce a new version of icingabeat, v7.5.2. With this release we ensure the compatibility with Elasticsearch 7.x and Logstash 7.x.
Icingabeat is an Elastic Beat that fetches data from the Icinga 2 API and sends it either directly to Elasticsearch or Logstash. To get you data forwarded, icingabeat connects to the Icinga 2 event stream and receives all events happening within Icinga in real time. With filters you can limit the types of events that are relevant for your use case.
Additionally, icingabeat pulls the status metrics of Icinga 2 periodically. You can use the collected data to get a better understanding about the internal counters and statistics of Icinga. Icingabeat comes with pre-defined dashboards that give a nice overview over the data.
Packages for icingabeat v7.5.2 are now available in our repository for the following operating systems:
- Debian: Buster, Stretch, Jessie
- Ubuntu: Disco, Bionic, Xenial
- CentOS: 6, 7, 8
- Fedora: 29, 30, 31
- SLES: 12.4, 15.0, 15.1
- openSUSE: 15.0, 15.1
