We are pleased to announce the release of Icinga Director version 1.11.2, which addresses several important bug fixes to enhance the stability across different areas of the Director.
UI Enhancements
This update resolves several issues, including errors when changing import source modifier priorities and deprecation notices when selecting HTTP proxy
in REST API
import sources. PostgreSQL users will find that deleting data lists is now possible without errors, and previewing sync rules with boolean properties works seamlessly. Basket snapshots display content correctly, and time periods now support the Add to basket
functionality.
API Improvements
API updates for notifications now return a 304
status code instead of 200
when there are no changes, optimizing response handling.
Internal Fixes
The apply_changes
setting from sync jobs restored from a basket is now applied correctly. Additionally, the Get host by name (DNS lookup)
modifier handles failed lookups without errors, ensuring smoother operations.
Director Branches
Cloning hosts now retains their services and service sets, and service sets themselves are clonable, improving configuration management.
Integrations
Custom variables created in Icinga Director include a label/caption, which is utilized in forms across the Director. To maintain consistency and because labels are generally more user-friendly, they are now displayed in the custom variable section within Icinga DB and the monitoring module.
Upgrade to version 1.11.2 to take advantage of these enhancements.
