Today we have released version 1.5.1 of Icinga for Windows, including the Icinga PowerShell Framework and the Icinga PowerShell Plugins. With this release, we addressed some smaller issues occurring on certain devices and other minor problems users ran into.
Icinga PowerShell Framework Fixes
#276 Fixes check value conversion to decimal, which sometimes did not resolve values properly and caused conversion issues
#282 Fixes issue on System.Text.StringBuilder which fails to initialize properly on some older Windows systems
#284 Fixes exception while creating default threshold objects
#285 Fixes plain Icinga 2 conf generation for commands, which was caused by a new exception output for additional information
#293 Fixes crash on REST-Api for NULL values while parsing the REST message
#295 Fixes background service check daemon not working with arguments for plugins
Icinga PowerShell Plugins Fixes
#196 Fixes unhandled PermissionDenied exceptions for Invoke-IcingaCheckDirectory, in case required permissions for files and folders were not set
#202 Fixes \ and / which are now removed again for -Include and -Exclude arrays on Invoke-IcingaCheckUsedPartitionSpace.
New REST-Api And Api-Checks Version
In addition to both bugfixes, we also released a new version for our REST-Api and Api-Checks module, addressing a memory leak, possible daemon crashes and an error on queueing new Api calls within the scheduler.
You can download all new releases directly from GitHub or PowerShell Gallery.
Thank you to everyone for your contribution and support on these matters, allowing us to track down and resolve the issues.
