In our latest story we feature Telekom Security (T Sec). The mission of this division of Deutsche Telecom is to protect business-critical data, digital identities and networked production facilities from cyberattacks.
When T Sec developed a new security solution in 2017 that didn’t fit into their existing monitoring, they decided against an isolated monitoring solution and instead created a contemporary and forward-looking monitoring environment. Icinga convinced the decision-makers at Telekom as an open-source product with a lot of development and an active community. In addition to that, Icinga´s multi-client capability and SSL encrypted connections with certificate-based authentication were a big plus in the decision. Now, T Sec has a future-proof monitoring environment, flexible and ready to scale up.
