Puppet and auto discovery in an Icinga environment
You will learn how to use the official Puppet modules to setup and configure the whole Icinga Stack in 15 minutes, starting with Icinga 2 core, through Icinga DB to Icinga Web 2 and its modules. With a few extra minutes, an HA setup can also be realized.
If Puppet is already being used to configure your environment, we discuss how to use this information to build a monitoring configuration automatically. It is also shown how the puppet facts can support us in generating service objects such as dedicated file system monitoring.
