What’s up at Icinga?
We’ll start off with an update on the Current State of Icinga from our CEO, Bernd Erk. In his talk, Bernd will provide insights into all the recent developments and updates from the past few months. Moreover, our COO Blerim Sheqa will focus on the ongoing efforts to reconstruct and enhance Icinga’s Incident Management System, emphasizing the positive influence it will bring to the entire platform.
Kubernetes and SNMP Module
Our lead developer, Eric Lippmann will discuss Icinga for Kubernetes. He’ll share valuable insights we gained over the past months regarding efficient Kubernetes monitoring with Icinga, presenting both the challenges we encountered and the progress we achieved. SNMP Monitoring module at scale with Icinga is presented to you by Rocco Pezzani and Thomas Gelf. Rocco is Solution Architect of Würth Phoenix and Thomas is Principal Consultant at NETWAYS, both long-standing Icinga partners. Their presentation unveils a new Icinga module enabling distributed SNMP network monitoring for large segmented networks, capable of monitoring over 10,000 devices in near real-time and displaying trend graphs for sensor and performance metrics.
Monitoring Cooling Units and Icinga Web Modules
Moreover you can learn about Monitoring Cooling Units in a phramaceutical GxX regulated environment from Felix Joussein. Felix will focus on how Icinga monitors and alerts temperature deviations in cooling units to maintain sample stability in GxP regulated environments, meeting regulatory standards set by organizations like EMA and FDA. In the talk Extending Icinga Web with Modules Nicolas Schneider will explain how to build powerful and smart modules for Icinga Web and demonstrate what he has build so far.
Cloud Native Monitoring and Best Practices
The topic of Infrasturcture Monitoring for Cloud Native Enterprises will be presented by Simone Nocentini from Italian Icinga partner Kiratech. And finally Birol Yildiz, Co-founder and CEO of ilert will provide valuable perspectives on proactive alerting strategies in his talk Incident Management: Best Practices your team should know.
