It’s been three years since we began sharing the remarkable journeys of our customers through success stories, and today, we’d like to reflect on how this initiative has evolved and continues to grow. In the world of B2B, especially with products as technical and complex as Icinga’s monitoring solutions, credibility and trust are vital. The success stories we’ve published have helped potential customers understand how Icinga fits into a variety of infrastructures, from large enterprises to smaller organizations.

Each story has reinforced the reasons why organizations choose Icinga, highlighting our system’s flexibility, scalability, and ability to solve complex challenges. They offer authenticity that resonates more than traditional marketing messages, helping prospective users visualize how Icinga could be their solution.

 

What’s Changed in the Process?

Over the past few years, we’ve refined the process of crafting these stories. Our team has optimized how we engage with clients, conduct interviews, and create content. Typically, each story starts with a 30-45 minute online interview with our COO, Blerim, and me, focusing on three main themes: the Challenge (What was the situation before using Icinga?), the Solution (Why did the company choose Icinga?), and the Success (What specific benefits has Icinga provided, and what were the outcomes after the transition?). After the interview, we transcribe it and draft the story, which is then sent to the client for internal review and approval.

Recently, we’ve added more flexibility for clients by offering the option to fill out a questionnaire instead of joining an online interview. We have also begun releasing anonymous case studies for companies that wish to protect individuals’ identities due to confidentiality reasons.
